Mission Uplift’s goal is to serve as the premier national model for ending chronic homelessness among our veteran population through rigorous adherence to best practices as identified and confirmed. Mission Uplift’s success is objectively measured through a series of metrics determined collectively by various funding sources, and most importantly, by the homeless veteran population that it serves.

Housing

Mission Uplift is committed to helping homeless veterans' transition successfully to permanent housing. By leveraging key federal programs, various funding sources, and our extensive network of over 32 member organizations, we provide comprehensive support that addresses both immediate needs and fosters long-term stability.

Comprehensive Care

Mission Uplift will support the VA’s Whole Health approach in providing whole-person centered care by liaising between the VA and the veteran program participants, building trust and aiding in the removal of barriers that exist that include supportive Comprehensive Care, supportive services, geographic and transportation barriers.

Technology

Mission Uplift is dedicated to empowering homeless veterans by offering vital technical support and cutting-edge technology. We ensure they can stay connected and operate virtually, all while adhering to federal and local safety guidelines.

Financial Literacy

Mission Uplift is committed to supporting our veteran community by providing crucial resources and services that foster their well-being and independence, bridging the equity divide through financial literacy. Our programs cover budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, and understanding credit, helping veterans build a solid foundation for financial stability and success.

Case Management

Mission Uplift acts as the bridge between veterans and VA or HUD case managers, facilitating seamless communication and support. Our dedicated on-site care team along with case management team plays a pivotal role in guiding veterans toward a successful and stable future.

Transportation Services

Mission Uplift provides essential transportation assistance to veterans, ensuring they can access Department of Veterans' Affairs medical facilities, as well as other critical resources, services, housing, and employment opportunities. Our goal is to support veterans in achieving a sustainable and healthy lifestyle.

Legal Services

Mission Uplift is dedicated to empowering homeless veterans and those at risk of homelessness through essential legal support. Our legal services aim to help the most at-risk veterans achieve residential stability and improve their overall quality of life.

Workforce Development

Mission Uplift is dedicated to transforming the lives of homeless veterans by offering comprehensive vocational and workforce development training. We collaborate with key agencies and organizations to create pathways that lead to meaningful employment and self-sufficiency.
